I was first bit with the travel bug when I spent a summer in Yorito, Honduras interning as an English and computer-literacy teacher. I was so excited by learning about new people, cultures, traditions, dances, and languages that I no longer wanted to stay in just one place. I later spent 6 months studying abroad in Montevideo, Uruguay, seizing the chance to explore some of South America. In 2015, I had the exciting opportunity to explore Southern Africa through a one-year fellowship with Global Health Corps as an Advocacy Support Officer for the Copperbelt Health Education Project in Kitwe, Zambia. My career in global health takes me to new places, from the West Coast to Southern Africa, and I love exploring all the spaces in between.
I use this blog to document my explorations of global health, gender equity, social justice, and traveling to new places, both well known and not so known.
Wishing you the very Best in your new journey…..love you tons:)
